Dr. Elizabeth Kianu Stahmer (She/Her)
Executive Director
Dr. Elizabeth Kianu Stahmer, DAOM, Executive Director of Stagecoach Foundation, Inc., has dedicated her career to helping people find health and wellness in their lives through education and workforce development, from preschool teaching to clinical practice to program development in higher education. She recognizes the exponential empowerment that comes from people having access to learning and rewarding career opportunities that supports themselves and their families.
Today, she brings her experiences together to provide free training in front of and behind the camera and access to work for New Mexicans in our blooming film and tv industry. Dr. Stahmer received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Indigenous Liberal Studies from the Institute of American Indian Arts and has a Master’s from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Clinical Doctorate from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Brandon Behringer (He/Him)
Mage of Media
Brandon Behringer is a dedicated multimedia professional and native New Mexican who joined Stagecoach Foundation in 2021 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Film from the University of New Mexico. With a deep-rooted passion for connecting people through media, Brandon has spent the past four years driving transformative changes at Stagecoach Foundation.
Brandon has played a key role in modernizing the foundation’s digital presence and brand language. He led a full website redesign to improve accessibility and user experience, revitalized the foundation’s social media and email strategies, doubling its overall reach, and reimagined the logo and visual identity to unify its look across platforms. His creative vision and dedication continue to drive the success of Stagecoach Foundation’s mission to uplift New Mexico’s film industry and its communities
Ienenharihshon Thompson (They/Them)
Coordinator
Ienenharihshon Thompson (ye’ nuh ha lee su) is a Mohawk/Anishinaabe artist and filmmaker dedicated to telling their own stories and expanding representation for Native youth in film and media. Their work focuses on uplifting Indigenous voices and revitalizing Indigenous languages through the power of filmmaking. They earned a bachelor’s degree in Cinematic Arts and Technology from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Spring 2025, and previously interned with Stagecoach Foundation in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 before joining the team as Coordinator.
As Coordinator, Ienenharihshon brings a deep passion for film and a strong understanding of it both artistically and technically, a perfect fit for a role so central to connecting Stagecoach participants with quality film training and workforce opportunities. Through their work, they hope to uplift others and contribute to Stagecoach's mission.
