During this program, you will learn various roles in film production, with positions in camera, acting, grip/electric, and sound, while working with a team to create a stellar short film.

Steam. Stock. Sizzle. - Stock Footage Editing Class

Steam, work with a collection of footage filmed at the AT&SF rail yard. The engine 2926 is one the largest steam engines ever used. It ran over a million miles, and then sat for 65 years before being restored. This collection of footage was filmed with the train operating, and was part of a previous Stagecoach Foundation class.

Stock, learning how to take footage into the world of stock footage. The class will teach managing footage from import to export, and codec delivery suggestions. Beyond having footage, it’s also important to know how to have people find it. Discussions about keywording, and data storage will also be highlighted

Sizzle, Now the footage will be provided to you to edit, to create a sizzle real to highlight your editing skills. The class will work with Davinci Resolve free editing software. The class will discuss editing on Resolve, and a tour of how to use it.
